Hi Christina, I would've replied earlier but I logged off at 9. ^^; Nice examples, have you ever tried using a transparent background, Maybe play around with shapes to make circle avi's?

Yeah i have There's only one example that one of my staff made and i don't think she used trasparent so yeah What do you mean circle avi's?

an avi shape of a circle. of course outside the shape would be transparent. Playing around with shapes and designs is one thing worth trying.

The reason I was asking was because gimp allows transparency. Problem is, it can be tricky to use. I'm trying to find you some tutorials that would help you understand.

It's an option when you create a new canvas. You can select the file type, the background type, the colour scale and, obviously, the size and file name. =D
