Right what would be your idea for a hang man type game? It 7 frames long but it doesn't have to be plain hang man. Like a shark getting nearer and nearer every time your wrong. I want to see how creative you guys are... and hopefully get the art done as soon as possible. an example of the frames and such. i43.tinypic.com/1zmm1oz.jpg

[glow=purple,2,300]*Soars down from the heights and bows* Certainly. ;D
There is a section in the third part which I haven't yet typed up, but it involves shifting stones in a pattern to try to unlock the center stone. I won't ruin it, but there is a combination, a way in which the stones can be moved to create other effects too. =D\
Will this suffice, oh great Master and Mistress?[/glow]

We'll just make it work! *excited* Hang man can be altered to a near infinite number of variations. Take Sarn's shifting stones idea and mix it with hang man and we get...something like the Mastermind board game! Maybe have the goal of the game be to solve the mysteries of Lunaire's lunar cycles/calendar? :3
I'm gonna doodle some ideas on what it might look like; my first thoughts were to have the game "board" resemble an ancient calendar, the circular kind. The stones could then be placed around the board to form whatever combination is needed to succeed/score points/reach the next level. Various combinations of the stones could have different effects on your score, the surrounding stones or even the board itself.
I realize the essence of hang man in the game is very nearly lost by this point, but hey its an idea! It would need a lot of work though... If it really has to be 7 frames, just simplify the concept a bit and it should still work.

[glow=purple,2,300]I feel I should give some more info on the subject if you're going to start sketching this idea. The stones are arranged in a circle around one center stone. There are twelve spaces, but only four stones, and each stone has a rune on it. Also, the center stone has fissures all over it that pulsate with blue-purple light, though it has no other markings. Its purpose is yet unknown to Lunaire. The only one who knows a darn thing is Talvir, an ancient rune God. ^_^[/glow]

Excellent! Will that be spherical stones, gems, or block shaped? And would you like fries with that? XP
Also, is it four stones including the center stone, or is the central stone separate?

Erk, in that case i'd better get working. Just when i finally got a real job too, what timing... >_<
You know, since the game is being produced by someone else it might not work out the way we intended. How about we use this opportunity to make a beta- no, an alpha version of the game in a hang man format...then use it this as a basis for the real game that we'll make at a later point, one that will be based off of the mechanics of Sarn's puzzle rather than hang man. Hm?
